India’s first Bhojpuri digital junction launched

The launch of a new entertainment platform named MITWA TV which is the first ever digital Bhojpuri        entertainment junction. Mitwa TV was launched by media stalwarts with the pre-launch pooja ceremony which was
held in their Noida head office. Speaking on the occasion Sh. Raghwesh Asthana, the Managing Director of the company said Bhojpuri digital media is a niche and untapped industry. Mitwa targets to serve Bhojpuri speaking audience with the content they want to see and appreciate.

He further said that Mitwa aims at bringing quality Bhojpuri entertainment and other regional content on a single platform. The platform intends to re-brand the Bhojpuri entertainment world which evidently is the need of the hour. Sh. Raghwesh Asthana is credited with creative experience of over three decades. Trained under legendary film directors Shri K Balachander and Shri T Rama Rao, Raghwesh has been on senior positions with UTV, Star Vijay, Radaan Media Works. He has also been the CEO of many regional entertainment and news channels including Mahua.

Also present in the event was Sh. Ritesh Kunwar, the other director of the company who has over two decades of experience, accolades, national and international awards to his credits. Ritesh has created some widely appreciated ON Air Designs, Motion Graphics, AD Films, TV Promos, Fictional Stories, etc. Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Ritesh said Mitwa TV is a timely and wonderful initiative to provide wholesome entertainment to the Bhojpuri viewers through its desi entertainment junction which has plan to launch OTT as well as satellite channels soon. The viewers will not only have the option to enjoy wide range of movies but also many regional news and entertainment channels.
Sh. Avinash Raj who holds the position of CEO in the company is a well-known name in the event and entertainment industry said they are committed to provide content that are family oriented and has the capacity to keep the whole family hooked together. He further added that Mitwa TV app will be available on play store by the same name and viewers can also consume its content from the website.

Other directors of the company Sh. Satya Chauhan and Sh. Salil Srivastava were also present. The occasion was graced by Sh. Abhay Sinha, a renowned name in the Bhojpuri film industry and founder of Yashi Films.
