Acting is my passion : Akshy Mishra

Akshy Mishra, who earlier appeared in the Shabana Azmi starrer TV show ‘Amma’, admits that he acts because it is his passion and that monetary compensation is just a bonus for him. Talking about it, the actor says, “I enjoy doing challenging and exciting roles. They are my first love and I am totally passionate about acting. I do not see how much I will earn when the role is offered to me. As long as it wins my heart and mind, I am happy. Similarly, I can’t accept roles which offer great remuneration, but are not entertaining for my audience. For me, acting is all about living my passion for the art, earning is just a bonus to it.”

The actor, who is currently shooting a digital series that also stars actress Arshi Khan opposite him, says that he got associated with the project to experience a new challenge. “For the first time, I will be shooting erotic scenes, which is a challenge for me. I want to experience acting that is a little out of my comfort zone. I’m hoping the audience appreciates my work.”

Akshy has earlier appeared in a number of TV shows including ‘Shaadi Ke Siyape’ and ‘24’ (Indian series) season 2′.
